A.B.C.D. Dodgeball

ABCD Dodgeball is a fast-paced, welcoming league created specifically for Anyone But Cis Dudes—centering women, trans, and non-binary folx. This league blends competition, movement, and community, offering an inclusive space to play hard, support one another, and build lasting connections on and off the court.

Whether you’re brand new to dodgeball or a seasoned player, ABCD Dodgeball is designed to be affirming, energetic, and community-driven.

League Details

Seasons: ABCD Dodgeball runs four times per year, with eight-week seasons that avoid major holidays.
Format: Players compete in organized team play with structured weekly matchups. Two divisions—Recreation and Competitive—ensure a fun, challenging, and appropriate level of play for everyone.
Location: La Familia Recreation Center, Denver, CO. This community-focused space provides a supportive environment perfect for both competitive play and social connection.
Schedule: Tuesdays evenings - Competitive is 7pm-8pm and Recreation is 8pm-9pm
Social Aspect: Community is central to ABCD Dodgeball. Players build friendships on the court and continue the fun after games at our sponsor bar, The 99ers Sports Bar.

Steph Ohalek - ABCD League Manager

Steph (they/them) started playing dodgeball with Summit in summer 2023 and truly fell in love with the community right away! They take pride in helping create a space for everyone, especially our ABCD community (anyone but cis-dudes). This space is both full of competition and fun vibes! Steph is originally from North East Ohio, and enjoys playing darts with their friends at local bars, playing dodgeball (of course!), or playing board games with friends!
