Stephanie (she/her) was born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada, and moved to Colorado in 2016 to play college softball. During her time in school, she had the amazing opportunity to be a three-time All-American third baseman and served as University Student Body President. Sports and leadership have always played a huge role in her life, being passionate about creating spaces where people can come together, compete, and feel like they belong. Steph works full-time as a tax accountant, and is deeply involved in giving back. She also serves on the Board for the Gay Games Denver 2030 Bid Committee, which has been an incredibly meaningful way for her to give back and advocate for inclusive, global LGBTQ+ representation in sports. She's been playing dodgeball with Summit since it's creation, where it has truly become a second home. Through this league, she's built lifelong friendships and found a safe, welcoming space for LGBTQ+ individuals—something she values deeply.

Gaelen grew up on the east coast (New York and Philadelphia,) yet when COVID hit the mountains started calling Gaelen west. Having played group sports on the east coast, they were signed up for multiple sports within the first six months of moving to Denver. You’ll find them in the corner at dodgeball, blocking balls at volleyball, and maybe being a little sassy during some ABCD play. Off the court, you can find them walking around Wash Park, watching a movie at Alamo, hiking in the mountains, or skiing down the slopes. Ultimately, Gaelen is looking forward to developing community, building relationships, and having fun!

B (they/she) moved to Denver in 2018 and casually started with Summit in 2024 as one of their self-imposed “try something new” quarterly challenges. Their love of dodgeball quickly resurfaced, bringing with it amazing new connections and a rekindled love of team sports. Originally from upstate New York, B is motivated to foster a socially and fiscally responsible space for all so we can continue to grow Summit into the conduit our community needs.

Eli (he/him) has lived in Colorado since 2019 and has an extensive history of participating in various sports and sports leagues across the country, as well as community empowerment and improvement initiatives. As the founder of Summit’s Dodgeball programming and its first Commissioner, he’s excited about continuing Summit’s mission “to grow and empower each other…”. “My deepest and longest-lasting friendships in Denver started when I had an opportunity to plug in and give back to my community. I am honored to help Summit foster that active, social, and inclusive opportunity with my people.” In his “spare” time, Eli can be found restoring furniture, practicing yoga, camping, or hosting dinner parties.

Kristen (she/they) lives by the mission of being the person you needed when you were younger. She joined us in 2022 and immediately took on leadership roles by reffing and bringing more people into Summit Sports. She and Gaelen have worked hard together to develop the Anyone but Cis Dudes Dodgeball division and are super proud to see it flourish. She is looking forward to helping the rest of the divisions grow and streamline operations throughout the league. She was born in Pueblo, CO, but grew up in Aurora, CO all of her life. She recently got married to her wife Alexandria in Sitges, Spain on Halloween 2025 and lives with her and their wonderfully blended family of dogs... Chloe, Leo and Kitsune.

Fiona (she/her) grew up in Utah and bounced around the east coast from New York to Pennsylvania. She moved to Denver in 2023 and fell into the Summit sports league by accident— a happy accident that allowed her to find her second home. For work, Fiona serves as Executive Director of AFT Colorado, one of the state’s educator unions. She specializes in community/political organizing, contract negotiations, and conflict resolution, ensuring teachers, staff and students of diverse backgrounds have a safe place to work and learn. Fiona has been playing dodgeball with Summit for three years and looks forward to helping grow the organization by means of community feedback and standard league guidelines.

Andrew (he/him) moved to Denver in 2022 and dived right into Summit, playing both kickball and dodgeball. While he enjoys the competitive nature that comes with playing sports, he mostly enjoys the camaraderie that is fostered while playing, therefore he is committed to creating a welcoming and warm environment for all to enjoy. Outside of sports Andrew, aka Dr. Walton, is a professor at MSU Denver teaching the next generation of future teachers.

Brandon (he/him) has a special knack for connecting people, and being genuine with others so they can feel confident enough to try something new. Brandon likes to try anything that is physically challenging, and shares those activities with others. Once upon a time, he was a karate instructor and co-ran a studio. He's an avid Yogi, and enjoys taking aerial classes. Reach out if you want to dive deeper into the community at Summit, or have ideas about service events.

Kirin (she/her) joined Summit in Spring 2025. She lived in several places around the country before moving to Denver in July 2021. She worked in local news for eight years before a career switch to marketing in fall 2024. Kirin loves meeting new people and spends most of her free time out with friends or watching Survivor.

Quinn (he/him) is a Denver-based outdoor enthusiast, community leader, and proud master of dodging both balls and bad vibes. Whether he’s carving down a mountain, scaling a cliff, or diving out of the way during a heated dodgeball match, Quinn knows that the best connections are built through shared adventures (and maybe a few bruises). Aspiring architect by day and team player by night, Quinn blends creativity and strategy like a well-crafted playlist. His dedication to fostering inclusive, active communities, bring people together through sports and recreation. When he’s not on the court, the slopes, or rocking out at a festival, Quinn’s busy inspiring others to chase their goals—and maybe a little adrenaline—wherever life takes them.
