Foam Dodgeball

Foam Dodgeball is a high-energy, approachable league using soft foam dodgeballs—perfect for players of all experience levels. With an emphasis on skill development, teamwork, and fun, this league offers a balanced mix of friendly competition and community connection.

From first-time players to experienced dodgeball athletes, Foam Dodgeball provides a welcoming environment to move, compete, and grow.

League Details

Seasons: Foam Dodgeball runs four times per year, with eight-week seasons.
Format: Teams compete weekly, earning wins through organized match play. Three divisions allow players to find the right level of challenge and progression.
Divisions: Recreation, Intermediate, & Advanced
Location: St. Charles Recreation Center, Denver, CO. A centrally located gym space ideal for fast-paced dodgeball action.
Schedule: Wednesday evenings, Recreation and Advanced from 7:00pm-8:00pm, Intermediate from 8:00pm-9:00pm
Social Aspect: Community extends beyond the court. After games, players head to our sponsor bar, Buddies Denver, to hang out, celebrate, and build connections.

Sloan Bishop - No-Sting Dodgeball League Manager

After Grant (he/him) graduated from college, he moved from Nebraska to Denver in the spring of 2017. Years later in 2023, he was looking to join an LGBTQ+ sports league to expand his social circle and discovered Summit through a Facebook post. Grant played his first game of dodgeball during open play and quickly fell in love with the sport and its welcoming atmosphere. Since then, he has advanced from the recreational league to the competitive league and has attended various tournaments across the country. Grant now works full-time at a bank as an implementation specialist and became the Foam Dodgeball League Manager in the summer of 2025.
